Please list your reasons for seeking office: I didn't like how the current governor wasn't representing the people as a superdelegate even though 73% of the voters

Please give details: Yes, as a county freeholder which Clark county needed to change their form of government. Have you held office, either elected or appointed? Please give details: No What do you believe will be the three most important issues in your campaign? Representing the people, the environment and education Please give examples of specific policies you would work for as Governor to help the citizens of Washington respond to the threat of climate change. Renewable energy! I have worked at Clark Public Utility for 35 years and have seen the positives and negatives of hydropower, nuclear power, gas turbines and solar power and know we need to work toward renewable energy especially solar. Given the realities of Republican obstruction in funding necessary programs, what are your three top budget priorities? Give some examples of budget items that you will fight for. Education, environment including clean water and air and transportation

4 infrastructure which will also improve the economy. Do you support Public Campaign Financing for: (1) Federal Positions? (2) Supreme Court Candidates? (3) Local government positions and lower court judicial positions? I would prefer it over those positions being bought by the highest bidder. Do you support comprehensive family planning and women's health care? Yes I do Do you support the use of public money to fund private schools that are called charter schools. No, I feel that our public schools should be our priority and get our funding. Do you believe that tax incentives provided to companies should contain accountability provisions? Yes. I'm not big on tax incentives for the wealthy corporations so if they get tax incentives they should be held accountable. Why should the 25 th Legislative District Democrats support you over any other candidates running for this position? I pledge to always represent the people and not use the position for my own self serving desires. Are there any additional comments you would like to share with the 25 th Legislative District Democrats? I'm a lifelong 4th generation Washingtonian and proud of it and I will do my best to prove that a non politician can do a great job as 24th governor of our state.

To that end we are looking for individuals who adhere to Democratic principles as demonstrated by Democratic Party activity, community activities, their reputation among Democrats, and statements they make supporting the Democratic Party and fellow Democrats. Endorsed candidates are discouraged from giving support in any partisan race to non-democratic candidates. If an individual is running against another Democratic candidate(s), such endorsed candidate is encouraged to draw clear distinctions and differences with his/her opponent in a friendly, informational, and non-confrontational fashion.
