Formal Objectives: 1. to take stock of collective progress towards the long-term goal of the Paris Agreement 2. to inform the preparation of nationally determined contributions (NDCs) to be submitted by all parties in 2020 A Pacific Island tradition Sharing of ideas and experiences in an inclusive, transparent and participatory manner Resulting in common decision-making for the greater good of the community Focus on lessons learned from experiences rather than finger pointing and blaming/shaming
