Sealed tenders for and on behalf of the President of India are invited from authorized/reputed firm/company/manufacturer for Supply and installation of furniture in the offices mentioned in Annexure A.. Tender process and submission of Tender Documents: (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) The bid/tender will consist of two parts (a) Technical bid and (b) Financial bid. The bids are to be placed in two separate envelopes clearly superscribing TECHNICAL BID and FINANCIAL BID. Both the Bids are to be in sealed envelopes clearly scribing PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF FURNITURE & OTHER OFFICE ITEMS. The name of the Agency/Firm must be mentioned on envelopes. The bid of all parties whose price bid is not in a separate sealed cover or the rates quoted by them find mentioned in the Technical Bid shall be rejected forthwith. All information sought under Terms and conditions and other information to be supplied is to be given in Technical Bid while the price quoted by them is to be mentioned only in the Financial Bid. The offers/bids received incomplete and/or filed after the due date shall be summarily rejected. The Technical Bids shall be opened on at.00 Hrs. by the tender purchase committee. The Financial Bids of only those parties shall be opened on the same day immediately after opening of Technical Bids whose Technical Bids are found to be eligible. The Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason. In case of dispute of any kind, the decision of the Assistant Commissioner, Central Excise & Service Tax Division, Ground Floor, TDM Office Campus, BSNL, Mahavir Nagar, Pali (Rajasthan) 06 0will be final and binding. The tender documents must be received latest by at 6.00 hrs. The documents received after due date & time due to any reason shall not be accepted.. Authenticity of the tender document: Every page of tender documents alongwith enclosures must be signed and sealed by the bidder.. Tender Documents: i. The tender documents containing Terms and conditions alongwith prescribed proforma/format for furnishing required information/details can be obtained from the Administrative Officer, Central Excise & Service Tax Division, Ground Floor, TDM Office Campus, BSNL, Mahavir Nagar, Pali (Rajasthan) 06 0 on any working day between 0.0 hrs. to 7.00 hrs. ii. The tender documents may also be downloaded from the website Earnest Money : (i) Tender documents must be accompanied with non-interest Earnest Money of Rs. 0,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft in favour

3 of Administrative Officer, Central Excise & Service Tax Division, Pali, failing which tender will not be considered for opening of Financial Bid. (ii) Cheques will not be accepted. (iii) No earnest money will be accepted after the due date at the time of submission of tender documents. (iv) Earnest money deposited with other Tender will not be adjustable against this Tender. (v) No bank commission or interest will be paid on the Earnest Money. (vi) If a bidder withdraws their offer after opening of Technical Bid or Financial Bid before award of tender to other valid bidder, the earnest money deposited by them will be forfeited. (vii) If a successful bidder fails to deposit requisite amount towards the Performance Security within specified time as per intimation/request of competent authority, the earnest money will be forfeited. (viii) Central/State Government and Central/State Government undertakings are exempted from deposit of Earnest Money. 6. Terms and conditions : (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) (vii) (viii) (ix) Minimum warranty period of the supplied items should be ONE year and the same will be effective from the date of handing over the goods to the department. The firm/agency should not be blacklisted from any Central/State Government/ Central and State Government undertaking and/or convicted by a Court of Law. An affidavit regarding non-blacklisting of the firm should be attached as proof. In absence of such a proof the tender/bid will be rejected. In case of any dispute and in respect of whatsoever arising out of tender/contract, the decision of the Hon ble Courts at Pali will be final and binding. The department has the right to change the quantity of the items in the work order as per actual requirement, which may vary depending upon various factors. The successful supplier has to submit a Bank Guarantee for year, issued from the Nationalized Bank within 7 days on acceptance of tender. The amount of bank Guarantee should be % of the accepted bid amount. The competent authority reserves the right to encash the Bank Guarantee in case the supplier fails to deliver the goods well in time or fails to provide the after sale service of the goods. The goods Supplier should have reasonable guarantee/ warranty period. The bidder should mention the warranty/ guarantee period for free servicing and replacement of parts, product etc.. Goods supplier should have a good track record of supplying such items to Govt. Departments/ PSUs/ reputed Private Organizations and having past experience of dealing in these items. The payment will be made only after receipts and successful installation/ operation of the good and furnishing of the mentioned Bank Guarantee. The actual list of procurement of the goods will be given at the time of placing order. All the items supplied should be of the brand and make as specified in the tender and the supplier has to furnish Quality Assurance Certificate along with invoice of the goods. (x) The supplier will be responsible for installation, operation and maintenance of the items/ goods during the warranty period in the offices mentioned in Annexure A. (xi) Delivery should be within 0 days of issue of purchase order. A penalty of Rs. 000/- per day will be imposed on the bidder after lapse of 0 days of issue of purchase order. (xii) The prices quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes of any Govt./ local authority/freight etc. as applicable. No payment over and above the prices quoted shall be made in respect of any such levies brought to notice at a later date. Final unit price are inclusive of all levies and taxes, freight, insurance, installation, commissioning and all other incidental charges. (xiii) The tenderer must submit manufacturer s catalogue in original in respect of the furniture items offered along with the technical bid.
