The corresponding clauses of General Conditions of Contract (GCC) relating to the SCC stipulations have also been incorporated below. These Special Conditions will modify/ substitute/ supplement the corresponding (GCC) clauses. Whenever there is any conflict between the provision in the GCC and that in the SCC, the provision contained in the SCC shall prevail. The tender will be opened on at 3.30 pm. 2) Payment: Payment will be made by e-payment after satisfactory completion of the work. 3) Envelopes containing quotations to be sealed and conspicuously marked "QUOTATION" for "Hiring of consultant" Due at 3.00 pm on Failure in compliance of above instructions may liable your quotation for rejection. 4) If no mention is made regarding taxes, it will be presumed that your rate is inclusive of all taxes. 5) Quotation will be opened at 3:30 pm on Firms or their nominees may be present at the time of opening of the tender. 6) Envelopes not marked as (3) above are likely to be opened in the normal course. 7) Quotation should be preferably sent by post. However, Hand Delivery will also be accepted or dropped in the Tender Box placed at Main Gate of Mint. 8) Late quotation will not be considered. 9) If you are unable to offer/quote, please pass on your enquiry letter to the likely supplier under intimation to us. 10) If you have entered into Rate Contract with the DGS&D New Delhi, for the Article in question please quote R/Contract Rate. 11)Postal delays will not be condoned on any account. 12) Quotation should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening date of quotations. 13) Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.7500/- in the form of Account Payee Demand draft/fixed Deposit Receipt/Banker's cheque and Bank Guarantee issued/confirmed by scheduled commercial bank of India (only in case of ICB) in favour of General Manager, India Government Mint, Noida and it should be valid for a minimum period of 180 days from the date of opening of tender. The tenderers who are currently registered and, also, will continue to remain registered during the tender validity period with Directorate General of supplies & disposals or with National Small Industries Corporation, New Delhi are exempted from payment of earnest money. In case the tenderer falls in these categories, it should furnish certificated copy of its valid registration details (with DGS & D or NSIC, as the case may be). Without EMD quotation will not be accepted. 14) SECURITY DEPOSIT AND PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE: On placement of letter of intent, the supplier shall furnish Security Deposit within 15 days of issue of Letter of intent in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee from any Nationalized Bank of India in favour of the General Manager, India Government Mint, Noida, for 10% of the value of Letter of intent valid for a period of 13 months from the date of issue of Letter of intent/work order. 15) As per the recent amendments to Schedule VI of the Companies Act 1956, companies are required to make certain disclosure pertaining to vendors registered under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act 2006(MSMED Act 2006). If your firm/company is registered under MSMED Act 2006, please send us a copy of the Sec04.1 registration certificate. 16) The General Manager, India Government Mint, Noida or his authorized representative has the right to impose extra terms and conditions other than those mentioned in this tender in due course on the grounds of National Security or otherwise. And the same will be binding with the firm without any obligation. 17) The contract may be extended for such further period as may be decided on mutual agreement, if necessary depending on the requirement of work, which shall be binding on you. 6 Section VII: Technical Specifications Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Industrial Automatic Sliding Gate including the following items, suitable for operation between -10 to + 50 degrees C. 1)Gate Structure Sliding Gate 8 Mtr X 3 Mt Gate Structure Sliding Gate 8 Mtr X 3 Mtr made out of MS Pipe approximately 100 x 50 x 3 mm in outer frame, approximately 50 x 50 x 2.5mm in internal members and 2 mm thick MS sheet on both sides as per drawings attached, duly painted with 2 coats of enamle paint after 1 coats of primer (Total weight approximately should be kgs) alongwith steel/nylon guides and MS Bottom Wheels with Bearing suitable for the smooth operation of gate. It should also include a rack throughout the length of gate to mesh suitably and to satisfactorily work with pinion mounted on the motor mechanism as given in item no. 2 2)Sliding Gate Motor Mechanism Sliding Gate Motor Mechanism suitable for operation of gate given in item no. 1, including 230V AC operated motor and it's controls and with Industrial Weather Proof Push Button and Remote operation transmitter- receiver (Range - 30 meters), capable of moving the gate by a total distance of 7 meters at a speed of 0.10m/s to 0.2 m / seconds. 3)Safety Sensor suitable for sensing Safety Sensor suitable for sensing of obstruction in closing of gate as in item no. 1 and giving command for gate reopening ( or gate stopping as desired by client) Sec05.1
