2 Questions to Member States as issuing States: 1. European warrants have been issued in 2010? LT: 291 EAWs have been issued for purposes of conducting a criminal prosecution and 111 EAWs have been issued for purposes of executing a custodial sentence. RO: 1235 EAWs were transmitted for execution to Member States. SK: 7 of m were additional request; 122 of m were cancelled. SE: (97 warrants issued for purpose of conducting a criminal prosecution and 72 issued for purpose of executing a custodial sentence or detention order).

Finally in 4 cases correspondence between Danish authorities and or member state is pending). DE: This figure does not distinguish between surrenders based on EAWs transmitted in 2010 and those transmitted already in 2009.
4 1355 Approximately persons have been ed under a European warrant in your country? have been effectively surrendered? EE: 29 persons surrendered, 3 persons detained in Estonia, in 3 cases EAW was withdrawn and 39 persons are still wanted. BE: No statistics available. DK: Furrmore 6 persons covered by a European Arrest Warrant were ed due to offences committed in Denmark. SE: This figure includes 8 persons who were already deprived of ir liberty in Sweden, i.e. 108 were deprived ir liberty due to a EAW. DK: Thereof 1 person was surrendered pursuant to surrender procedure between Nordic countries. Furrmore 3 persons travelled to requesting member state voluntarily without police escort and 3 persons fled after Danish authorities had made a decision on surrender, but before actual surrender took place. In addition to 35 cases 6 cases are still pending. EE: In respect of one person still pending criminal proceedings in Estonia, 2 EAW's issued for extension of surrender and 1 person doesn't have connections with Estonia.

BE: Belgian authorities have registered surrender of 12 people with Belgian nationality. There are no statistics available on number of Belgian residents that have surrendered in BG: No statistics available. CS: 23 nationals; 2 residents. DK: 4 cases concerning a Danish national. (Please note that national statistics only register nationality, not residency). SK: The judicial authorities of Slovak Republic executed EAW with regard to Slovak nationals in 24 cases. The Slovak Republic does not investigate residence of ed persons. UK: Figure is for British Nationals. We do not record wher or Nationalities are residents of UK or not.
