SECTON 2: As required by Section of the llinois Municipal Code, the corporate authorities of the Village of Chatham hereby determine that the public interest will be subserved by the vacation of this alley right of way. SECTON 3: Title to the vacated portion of the rightof-way devolve upon the property owner adjacent to the rightof-way. However, the Village hereby finds that compensation

2 from such property owner to the Village is inappropriate, and therefore expressly waives any right to compensation. SECTON 4: The Clerk shall cause a true and correct copy of this Ordinance to be filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Sangamon County, llinois. SECTON 5: This Ordinance is effective immediately.
