COURSE OBJECTIVES The objectives of the course are: To make students know that the basic rule of English Land Law that Land is owned by the crown That the crown made grants of land to his followers and to those who submitted to his control That grants of land were made in return for services to be rendered by the tenant That Estates are classified according to the duration of a tenant s rights to the land.
