1 GAIL (India) Limited Corporate Miller, 2 nd floor, 332/1, Thimmaiah Road, Vasant Nagar, Bangalore EMPANELMENT OF ADVOCATES GAIL (India) Limited desires to empanel Advocates for its Project Offices across the pipeline located at Bangalore, Tumkur, Chitradurga, Ramnagara, Davanagere, Mangalore and Belgaum. The detailed eligibility criterion for empanelment of advocates and other pre requisite requirements are furnished. 2 Empanelment of Advocates 1. A panel of advocates is required for High Courts, District Courts, and Arbitration Tribunals etc., for matters to be dealt at Bangalore, Tumkur, Chitradurga, Ramnagara, Davanagere, Mangalore and Belgaum. 2. Panel will be in the following categories: Category A Advocates with an active practice of more than 8 years and less than 15 years or more before High Courts and its Benches. Category B Category C More than 15 years of effective practice in the High Court. Minimum of 8 to 15 years of effective practice in the Lower and District Courts. (Unclassified areas). a. Other Conditions: i. Advocates should have specified experience in handling Court and Arbitration matters. Preference will be given to the Advocates having worked with the Central PSUs including those under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Reference can also be made of any international assignments including arbitration, legal due diligence etc. ii. Advocates should have adequate infrastructure including Office, Computer with e mail facility and also should have well maintained library/ legal software. iii. Advocates should have at least 2 Junior Associates registered at the respective Bar working with him on regular basis. 3. The existing fee structure is annexed at Annexure A. 4.
