1 Course Name: Course Description: Course Requirements: Business/Education Law (One- Half to One Credit) Constitutional and Education Law is an overview of the federal and state court systems. The course identifies the roles of judicial officers and the trial processes from pretrial to sentencing and examines the types and rules of evidence. Emphasis is placed on constitutional laws for criminal procedures such as search and seizure, stop and frisk, and interrogation. s analyze the social responsibility of business and industry regarding the significant issues relating to the legal environment, business ethics, torts, contracts, negotiable financial instruments, personal property, sales, warranties, business organizations, concept of agency and employment, and real property. s apply technical skills to address business applications of contemporary legal issues. s incorporate a broad base of knowledge that includes the legal, managerial, marketing, financial, ethical, and international dimensions of business to make appropriate business decisions. This course is recommended for students in Grades Recommended Equipment: Computer lab required for access to online resources and research.
