Special Terms and Conditions for Motor rewinding and recasing of rotor installed at Sugar Factory, Sri Ganganagar 1. The tender must be submitted in two sealed Envelopes one containing the Technical Bid and another containing Price Bid. The Technical bid along with the EMD & all other documents should be kept in the Envelope of technical bid and the financial rates only should be quoted in the Price bid. Both sealed envelopes must be submitted simultaneously and must be reach office of RSGSM Ltd, Sri Ganganagar by prescribed date & time. 2. The Price bid of tenderers who qualifies in the technical bid evaluation would only be opened later on the date to be intimated by RSGSM. 3. Tenderer should enclose certified copy of all the required document as per Checklist & Terms and conditions enclosed with Tender form. 4. Dividing quantities among more than one bidder at the time of award.- As a general rule all the work of the subject matter of procurement shall be given to the bidder, whose bid is accepted. However, when it is considered that the work is very large and it may be divided in more than one bidder in a fair transparent manner at the discretion of the company. 5. The Scope of work of motor rewinding includes followings:- a. Cleaning of the interior and exterior parts of the motor. b. Removal of the pulley/coupling from the shaft.

8 9 c. Checking of he bearing, bearing seats, housing etc and greasing. d. Removal of the burnt winding from the stator/rotor. Weightment of the copper scrap and depositing it in the store and taking receipt for the record. e. Rewinding of the motors, refitting of the components of the motors including coupling/pully, key, fan, terminal plates etc. and testing at no laod well as at full load 6. The period of contract would be one year from the date of issue of work order. Which can be extended for three months by the RSGSM Ltd, and the successful tenderer would be liable to carry out the job on approved rates, Terms and conditions during extended period. 7. Both labour and through rates must be quoted by every tenderer in price bid. 8. In labour rates- The rates to be quoted per HP of Motors these rates includes cost of insulation material. 9. In through rates- The rates to be quoted per Kg of super enameled wire to be used in motors alongwith gauge including all the taxes. The make of the wire should be Milan/Shramik. 10. The class of insulation of super enameled copper wire should be class F. 11. Contractor has to rewind the motor within 24 hours after receipt of information. If he failed to rewind insaid period then it will rewind from other sources at its risk & cost. 12. A room for rewinding of the motors will be made available. The motor is to be rewind in premises only. For any specific motor needs to be rewinded from outside then prior permission of the General Manager is to be taken. 13. The class of insulation should be F-class minimum with glass lead wire, varnish and copper thimbles at all the six leads etc. This material will be supplied by the contractor. 14. Motor should be complete in all respect with complete nuts and bolts. If any bolt is broken in the body then conractor has to drill it, tap it and then the bolt is fitted in the motor. 15. If any machining work is required than the facility of our work shop is available but contractor has to take the material in our wurkshopp and get it machined ato this entire satisfaction. 16. Contractor has to give guarantee for minimum 90 days on full load. If the motor is burnt during guarantee period than this motor will be got rewinded free of cost including cost

9 10 of S.E copper wire and insulation material but in this case he can take back the scrap of burnt S.E. copper wise. 17. The data of the motor is submitted to the factory in the prescribed format. 18. Private No. of rewinded motor and date of rewinding should be painted on the motor. 19. Material( to be used) brought/bought from out side for rewinding of motor must be entered on factory gate and inward slip must be enclosed. 20. Cost of carriage/cartage from factory site to contractor s workplace & back to the factory site will be born by the contractor. 21. Payment terms a. 75% payment after receipt of motor and fitting it in site and testing at no load. b. 25% payment after expiry of the guarantee period. 22. Separate bill of each motor should be submitted within three days of recommissioning of the motor and necessary formats of repair report must be enclosed with. 23. Guarantee voids in following conditions:- a. If motor is burnt due to single phasing b. If motor is burnt due to water entering in the stator/rotor, but is should be got certified from Sr.EN(Electrical)/AEN (Electrical) and Chief Engineer. 24. The contractor can check the starter during the guarantee period for this entire satiscation and it any deficiency is noticed it will be removed innediatlely. 25. Work can be allotted to one or more parties looking to the quality and quantum of work at parallel rate contract. 26. Management has right to get the motor winded either on through rates or only on labour rates. 27. Management can get the specific motor/motors rewinded from any other source. 28. As per instructions of circular No. 3/2013 Dated finance (G&T)Department, Govt. of Rajasthan Annexure enclosed.
