1 Since 00 each of the four judges of the Superior Court has based his calendar largely on the previous year s calendar, but every year each judge has either ed or hand delivered all desired dates and changes. Those four schedules are then consolidated into one circuit calendar for all four Superior Court judges. As always, each judge individually controls and individually makes any desired changes to his own calendar. Please check with the judge s chambers before relying on any particular hearing or trial date. If you need a hearing date or trial date that you feel cannot be handled by the judge s schedule, please contact the judge s chambers. Generally, as to hearing dates, please alert the judge s chambers if you expect a particular hearing to take over hour. Please also observe and comply with Uniform Superior Court Rule 7., requiring notice of any conflict at least 7 days in advance. Very few hearings and almost no trials are noticed less than 7 days in advance. Faxed conflict notices the night before a hearing defeat the purpose of USCR 7., which is to allow the judges, not counsel, to control the sequence of appearances in courts.
