The last date of receipt of sealed tender papers Up to 5.00 PM of and shall be opened on 11.30AM of The following documents are to be enclosed with the tender paper: a) One recent passport size colour photograph of the bidder. b) Proof of residential address (copy of Passport /electric bill of September-2018 / driving license / voter I card/ Aadhar Card. ) c) Copy of PAN Card. d) Copy of GST registration certificate. e) EMD for Rs.50,000/-( Rupees Fifty Thousand) only in shape of Bank Draft or Bankers cheque drawn in favour of the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park in any Nationalized Bank payable at Bhubaneswar. In case of unsuccessful tenderers, the EMD shall be refunded after closure of the tender process. f) Proof of being a registered supplier of exotic species in the related field with Valid Registration Certificate of the registered firm / NGO / Society / entrepreneur / Company. g) Credibility and experience certificate issued from the concerned Authority / Employer of a Govt. / ULB / PSU of repute for at least 3 (three) years under whom the work is done for performing the similar nature of work.

5 The EMD shall subject to forfeiture in the following cases:- i) In case the successful bidder withdraws from the tender after opening of his tender paper. ii) In case the successful bidder does not come forward to sign the agreement when intimated by the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park. 3. IMPORTANT MATTER TO BE NOTED BY THE BIDDER: a) The rate shall be quoted in figures separately for the individual animals. b) Unsealed tenders & those received beyond the scheduled date & time shall not be accepted c) Tender papers without signature of the bidder shall be rejected. d) Tender papers without the desired documents as specified in clause-2 of Term & Condition shall be rejected. e) The entire set of tender paper should be paged and contents page should be put on the top of the tender paper for quick reference. 4. Form of Tender: The tender application form will consist of two parts, (i) Form-A (Technical) and (ii) Form-B (Financial). The bidder has to give details of his Firm / agencies, if any, previous experience and the proof to that extent in Form-A (Technical). In Form-B the tenderer has to quote financial amount. Form A & Form B are to be kept in two different sealed covers over which Form-A / Form-B respectively should be clearly written. Both covers should be kept in a cover super scribing TENDER FOR PROCUREMENT OF ANIMALS" and the name of the bidder, failing which tender will not be considered. The tender should be sealed and complete in all respect. 5. Tender form can be obtained from the website of Nandankanan Zoological Park on payment of (Paper cost Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) + GST 18% Rs.900/-(Rupees Nine hundred) = Rs. 5,900/-. The downloaded tender paper must be accompanied with Bank Draft of Rs. 5,900/- in favour of the Deputy Director, Nandankanan Zoological Park in any nationalized Bank payable at Bhubaneswar. The cost of tender form is not refundable under any circumstances. 6. The undersigned reserves the right to alter or modify any or all the terms & conditions of the terms & conditions of the tender in the interest of Govt.

6 7. The term Deputy Director wherever mentioned in this document shall mean the Nandankanan Zoological Park authorities. The term Agency wherever mentioned in this document shall mean the party selected for award of the contract. The term Contract means the agreement between the Deputy Director and Agency which would be signed at the time of award of work. 8. The Deputy Director does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. 9. Canvassing in connection with tender is strictly prohibited and the tender submitted by the party who resort to canvassing will be liable for rejection. Bidders which do not fulfill any or all of the conditions or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected without assigning any reason thereof. 10 Nandankanan Zoo will not pay for transportation, sexing, health examination certification of animals etc. Nandankanan Zoo will pay for cost of animals only. 11 Tenderer have to strictly follow the Act, Rules, Guidelines & Instructions providing in the state of Odisha, India & abroad. 12 The applicants shall be responsible for all of the cost associated with the preparation of their proposals & their participation in the selection process, visit to the zoo, etc. The authority will not be responsible or in any way liable for such costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the selection process. 13 The successful bidder will have to sign an agreement with the authority. 14 Due screening of all the animals involved in the exchange, against zoonotic, infectious and contagious disease and ecto & endo Parasites shall be carried out prior to its transportation from the bidder. 15 Very young & very old animals should not be supplied. The animals should have been properly weaned and do not depend on their mothers/keepers for food. The detailed history sheets and treatment card of the animals should be provided at the time of supply of animals. 16 The supplier must provide all the details of the animal such as date of birth, age, Sex(molecular sexing for birds), feed chart, health care measures adopted, etc.

7 17 The animals should be in good health condition at the time of receipt at zoo. 18 The bidder should submit the supportive documents of experience in supplying exotic species in Indian zoos. 19 The guidelines laid by the Central Zoo Authority for the transportation of captive wild animals should be strictly followed. 20 It shall be deemed that by submitting the proposal, the bidder has: I. Made a complete and careful examination of the tender document. II. Received all relevant information from the Nandankanan Zoological Park authority. III. Acknowledged and accepted the risk of inadequacy, error or mistake in the information provided in the tender document or furnished by or on behalf of the authority. IV. Acknowledged that it does not have a conflict of interest. 21 The bidder should not be blacklisted or debarred or suspended by the Government for whatever the reason, prohibiting them not to continue in the contacting business. 22 Not with standing anything contained in this document, the Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and to annul the selection process and reject all proposals, at any time without any liability or any obligation for such acceptance, rejection or cancellation. 23 The Authority reserves the right to reject any proposal if: I. At any time, a material misrepresentation is made or uncovered, or II. The Applicant does not provide, within the time specified by the Authority, the supplement information sought by the Authority for evaluation of the proposal. 24 Any dispute/appeal will be referred to the Chief Wildlife Warden, Odisha / Director, Nandankanan Biological Park whose decisions will be final and binding to both parties.

8 25 Any legal dispute will be referred to the court having jurisdiction over Bhubaneswar. 26 The successful bidder has to deposit 10% of the total financial bid amount in the form of Bank Draft/ Bank Guarantee at the time of signing of the agreement towards security deposit % payment will be made after receipt of animals and the rest amount will paid after completion of one month of quarantine period.
