Judges, by status and sex, and financial resources, including in appeal courts, Comments for Table 8 The n law intends the employment of lay judges for certain cases of employment law, social welfare law, commercial law, cartels law and for offences, which are threatened with at least five years of imprisonment. Only persons, who have a certain expertise, can become lay judges in cases of the employment law, the social welfare law, the commercial law and the cartels law. In criminal cases lay judges are chosen by a random system and generally spoken every n citizen, who is at least 25 years and at most 65 years old and has his legal residence in, can become a lay judge.
