3 All Jobs Requirements Minimum Education Requirements: Have passed a GED test or be a high school graduate. MUST be a citizen of the United States (All positions with inmate contact) MUST have a current home telephone number or cell phone. This must be a number that you can be contacted at all times. MUST be at least 18 years of age Be fingerprinted-search for Local, State, and National Records-to disclose Criminal Records. Not EVER have been or currently on court-ordered community supervision or probation for any criminal offense above Class B misdemeanor; or a Class B Misdemeanor within the last 10 years. Not currently under any indictment or any criminal offense. Not EVER have been convicted of an offense above the grade of a Class B Misdemeanor within the last 10 years. Not EVER have been convicted of any family violence offense. MUST HAVE A VALID TEXAS DRIVER S LICENSE. Not prohibited by State or Federal law to possess firearms or ammunition. MUST be subjected to background investigation and interviewed by appointing agency. MUST be examined by a Physician: Must be physically sound and free from any defects and show no trace of drug dependence or illegal drug use. A pre-employment drug screening will be conducted. Be examined by a Psychologist or Psychiatrist. MUST be in a satisfactory Psychological and Emotional Health.
