1 UK TB Detection Program at IOM in Kazakhstan (Tuberculosis tests for visa applicants) You must be tested for tuberculosis if you are coming to the UK for more than 6 months and you are from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan. Your test certificate must be from a clinic approved by the Home Office. The test includes documents overview, questionnaire and instigations depending on age: Adults and children from 11 years old and over need a Digital PA Chest X-Ray at approved clinic or alternatively Sputum test (results might take up to 8 weeks); Children less than 11 years old need an IOM Physician exam (child may be referred for X- Ray if needed). Note: Pregnant women can choose: - An X-Ray with an extra shield (in the II and III trimesters); - Sputum test (results might take up to 8 weeks); - To wait until after delivery. X-Ray done earlier may be used as additional information. Panel Physician cannot give you a certificate based on that. It is recommended to have the test before applying for visa. You may wait up to 10 working days at a peak season. Come to the test on appointment date (there is a group of clients at the same time). If it is normal certificate can be issued at the same day. Physician can require the additional PTB investigation which takes up to 2 months. Please inform us about your current or possible pregnancy. In case if your visit is impossible due to the health, traffic or other problems, you should call to our office and change or cancel the appointment date as soon as possible. Child can be added to the parent s Passport or bring a Passport copy) IOM Registration form Vaccination form for children under 11 years old + TST (Mantoux test) is aged between 2 and 11 years If you had a severe disease, prolong hospitalization, abdominal surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy in the past, you would accelerate your medical process providing us with the medical documents (hospital discharge, specialist s report, histologic diagnosis, etc). There is no need in your medical reports about appendectomy, abdominal pregnancy, Cesarean section, cholecystectomy and the similar conditions. Note: You may have a breakfast. Women are advised not to come during menstrual cycle! Driver s ID cannot be used as identification document. If you are mildly sick please wait until you are better before having your immigration medical examination. Medical file can be processed up to 3 working days (this time is needed to receive the results of the tests from laboratory for Permanent visas). Set 1 working day free.
