3 Brazil e-visa Information This is an application form for a Brazilian electronic e-visa. The e-visa will be ed to you when completed by the authorities in Brazil. You need one JPEG format image of the data/photo page of your passport. You need one JPEG format ID photo (passport-style photograph of you). Passport Upload Scanned JPEG image of the data page of your passport double-page spread containing personal details (name, date of birth, nationality, expiry date, photograph, etc.) to be used by the applicant. The application will be rejected if the uploaded passport is not in JPEG format. Image should fill the scanned area. All corners of the open passport must be clearly visible. File Format: JPEG format only File Size: Minimum 100 kb - Maximum 275 kb Pixel Size: Minimum 413 x Maximum 2065 x 2655 pixels ID photograph Upload A passport-size photo has to be an ICAO Standard photograph in JPEG format only. The photograph must be taken from the front, against white background. The applicant shall provide neutral face and the eyes must be open and visible. If you wear glasses, the lenses may not reflect the ambient light or the camera. Dark glasses or non-prescription glasses with tinted lenses, or thick frames, are not acceptable. Photo must fill the entire image area and be upright (no white space around photo). There cannot be white space on either side of the body. No home photos are accepted. It is not necessary to send it to with your application as it does not form part of your application package. OVERVIEW of the BRAZILIAN e-visa The e-visa is an electronic type of visa that can be requested by Canadian citizens. You can apply for the e-visa if you fit in the conditions mentioned below: - You intend to go to Brazil as a visitor in a category listed below. - Your stay will not exceed 90 days including date of arrival and date of departure. - You hold a Canadian passport valid for at least six months after your trip from Brazil. Tourism: Tourism visitor is a person who wishes to carry out activities of a tourist, informative or recreational nature, as well as visiting family members. Business: Business visitor is a person who will attend to meetings, trade fairs and business events, prospect commercial opportunities, sign contracts, audit or consult. The exercise of paid activity in Brazil is forbidden and the stay cannot exceed 90 days. Transit: Transit visitor is a person who, in order to reach the country of destination, must enter in Brazilian national territory. It is not necessary to grant a visa to a person on a continuous voyage, who has to make stopovers or connections in Brazil, provided that: i) he / she stays in the international transit area of the Brazilian port or airport, without the need to pass Brazilian immigration control, and ii) is the holder of a single air ticket, even if issued by two or more airlines that have a cooperation agreement between them. Journalism: Journalism visitor is a person who acts as a journalist and who stay does not exceed 90 days. Sport Activities: This type of visitor is a person who has the purpose of carrying out sports activities for a short stay, with no intention of establishing residence, intending to perform sports activities and participate in sports competitions, even if he/she will receive prizes, including cash. Artistic Activities: This type of visitor is a person who comes to Brazil for a short stay, without intention to establish residence, for the purpose of performing artistic activities and for participation in artistic competitions, even if he/she will receive prizes, including cash. Seminars or Conferences: This type of visitor is a person who wishes to come to Brazil to participate in conferences, seminars, congresses or meetings, characterized as specific events. These visitors do not receive remuneration in Brazil for their activities. The visa can be granted even if a person obtains reimbursement of the expenses of stay, transport and food, directly or by means of daily.

10 Cultural Program: This type of visitor is a person who wishes to carry out cultural activities. Scientific Program: This type of visitor is a person who wishes to carry out scientific research and scientific cooperation activities, provided that the stay does not exceed 90 days. Research Activities: This type of visitor is a person who wishes to carry out academic extension activities, provided that the stay does not exceed 90 days. Studies: This type of visitor is a person who wishes to carry out teaching and learning activities, in addition to supervised internships, provided that the stay does not exceed 90 days. Crewmember: This type of visitor is a person who will act as an aircraft or vessel crew member, except for cases when the visitor presents an international seafarer card issued under the terms of the Convention of the International Organization of Labour - ILO. Voluntary activities: This type of visitor is a person who wishes to act as a volunteer, provided their stay does not exceed 90 days Fiancé(e) or spouse of a Brazilian citizen: This type of visitor is a person who comes to visit their Brazilian spouse or family. Short Term Medical Treatment: This type of visitor is a person who is granted short medical or therapeutic treatment, provided that the stay does not exceed 90 days and that he has sufficient means of subsistence to pay for his treatment and maintenance during the period in which the treatment is carried out, by own resource, health insurance valid in the national territory or certificate of provision of health service provided in an international agreement.

INTERAC e-transfer Interac e-transfer is a funds transfer service between personal and business accounts at Canadian banks and other financial institutions. You do not have to provide any account details or even a credit card number to our company. Our staff never see any of your account details when you use an e-transfer method of payment. You deal only with your bank or financial institutions to make payment in a totally secure environment right from your home or office. HOW IT WORKS 1. Fill in the entire visa application form, including the VSC cover page above, and send it to our office by courier or as applicable. 2. Our professional staff review your application and determine the total payment (including taxes and shipping) to be made by you. 3. Our staff send you an detailing the full and final charges. This will contain all the instructions for making the e-transfer. It will include the and security codes, and step-by-step instructions for you. 4. You, or a friend or relative acting on your behalf, make the e-transfer to VSC for all the visa processing charges and fees. 5. It takes about 30 minutes for the bank to send the e-transfer notification to our office. We then receive the funds and can then pay the embassy on your behalf. Payment must be received before the embassy can be approached with your application. YOUR ADDRESS Applicants MUST provide at least one (1) working and monitored address on the VSC cover page so that our staff can contact you with details of the payment. Please provide two. An application form without a typed correct and monitored address cannot be processed. Applicants who respond immediately are assisted first. Applicants who do not respond within three days (72 hours) will have their applications cancelled and their passports prepared for return. Failure to respond promptly may result in you missing your journey.
