2 SHORT BIOGRAPHY Elaine Lynn-Ee Ho is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore (NUS). Her research addresses how citizenship is changing as a result of migration. She has conducted research in China, Myanmar and Singapore. Her current research focuses on three areas: transnational ageing and care ethics in the Asia-Pacific, African student migration to China, and border mobilities between Myanmar and China. Prior to joining NUS, she was a lecturer at the University of Leeds. She completed her PhD at University College London, after which she was awarded postdoctoral fellowships at Royal Holloway University of London and the University of British Columbia. Dr Ho serves on the editorial boards of Citizenship Studies, Emotions, Society and Space, and the Singapore Journal of Tropical Geography. She is also an international member of the ESRC Peer Review College in the United Kingdom.
