If you also wish to apply for Finnish citizenship for underage children in your care, you must separately fill in appendix form KAN7_ILM_A, KAN7_ILM_B or KAN7_ILM_C for each of them, according to their ages. Co-applicants may only be granted citizenship in connection with their guardian s declaration. Submit the declaration in person to your local Finnish mission abroad or to a service point of the Finnish Immigration Service in Finland. A processing fee will be collected when the declaration is submitted, according to the Decree on charges. Clarifications that you need to append to your application are listed in section D of this form. If requested, you must present the original documents to the Immigration Service during the processing of your declaration. Any document issued by a foreign authority must be legalized, and a translation into Finnish or Swedish by an authorized translator must be appended. Enclose the clarifications with the declaration and tick the boxes below as appropriate. This is not needed if your information is entered in the Finnish Population Information System. The UMA system is used for processing, decision-making and monitoring of matters governed by the Aliens Act and the Nationality Act.
