4 CURRENT INITIATIVES OF THE BA The BA already Responds to the Increasing Demands by Setting in Place Projects on the Employers Side The initiatives of the BA in the area of refugee integration Project Early Intervention at 9 locations in Germany: identification of talents and placement in employment or vocational training estimate of approx. 6,500 integrations via trial positions/training programmes in companies Hamburg Bremen Münster Berlin Münster Dortmund Dresden Dortmund Köln Arthur H. (42, Armenien). Das Early Intervention-Programm entdeckte den gelernten Steinfasser und vermittelte ihn in Münster als Mitarbeiter in einer Goldschmiede Abdoulaye N. (40, Niger). Über das Early Intervention-Programm entdeckt arbeitet er heute als Vermittlungsfachkraft für Flüchtlinge in der Agentur für Arbeit in Dortmund a lot of regional initiatives, g. e. g. project StellA with the current result of 40 refugees integrated in employment, 5 refugees integrated in vocational training Freiburg Augsburg Abdulnasir A. (27, Syrien). Über das Projekt StellA wurde er in Maßnahme beim Arbeitgeber (KFZ-Betrieb) aufgenommen, mittelfristig hat er Ausbildung als KFZ-Mechatroniker in Ausblick Seite 4
5 CURRENT INITIATIVES OF THE BA as well as Setting in Place Joint Projects with Employers and Partners Numerous joint initiatives with employers Numerous SMEs and large companies are addressing the fostering and integration of refugees in a proactive manner or are planning future initiatives Initiatives across organisations Projekt LOTSE Team 180 Projekt IDA All participants in the Lotsenhaus for refugees in Koblenz under one roof (from the end of 2015 on) Guidance and integration of asylum seekers at Employment Agency and directly at the BAMF in Berlin Measures concerning language acquisition as well as professional integration for 106 asylum seekers Seite 5

7 PERSONNEL, FINANCIAL AND LEGAL DEMANDS Personnel and Financial Support are Important Success Factors for the Activities Staff Requirement recruitment of additional specialists for integration, careers advisors and specialists for the granting of benefits increase of specialist consultants in the field of rehabilitation for supporting traumatised refugees increase of assistants in entrance areas and for case processing Increase of personnel capacity Social Security Code II of 2,800 1 labour forces for the full year, Social Security Code III of (2016) Financial Requirement increased demand for expenditures in the area of minimum income benefit in order to increase funds earmarked for integration and administrative budget by 640 mio. Euros in 2016 increased demand for funds earmarked for integration in the area of unemployment insurance of 150 mio. Euros in 2016 increased demand for staff in the area of unemployment insurance of 65 mio. Euros in 2016 At least 855 mio.
