TOOL USED: CCCM SITE TRACKER A Tool for Weekly Gap Analysis and monitoring Discussed at the ISWG as of November, feedbacks from other sectors, CCCM Tool kit, used in sites to track / monitor / record needs. Basis for the WASH alert monitoring tracker.

SITE TRACKER OF ACTIVITIES IN IDP SITES AND HOST COMMUNITIES* Description of the tool Highlights The DTM Site Tracker is used to capture humanitarian activities implemented by humanitarian partners in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Sites in North East Nigeria. Real-time data entry allows upto-date information to be shared on regular basis with implementing partners to support coordination, planning, response and assistance. Overview As part of the contributions of IOM to the Humanitarian response in North East Nigeria, DTM developed a new tool to be used in the field to capture the activities implemented by partners and service providers in IDP sites in Maiduguri, Borno and Yola, and Adamawa States. Relevant partners across sectors contributed inputs about the priority information they need in order to better plan, respond and assist Internally Displaced Persons in camps. Using this tool, stakeholders would be able to track each other s weekly activities and minimize duplication of efforts, in support of intra-sector coordination, to improve communication and to strengthen the quality of services delivered to IDPs. As a contribution to make assistance more efficient while increasing the quality of life of the Affected Population, the DTM Site Tracker would contribute to speed up the time of response by concerned partners when their intervention is needed and avoid unnecessary delays. The information on activities, delivery of services and status of facilities presented through the Site Tracker is provided by NEMA/SEMAs Camp Managers in formal camps and by camp leaders of informal settlements. Around 30 Site Facilitators (SFs) are currently collating weekly info throughout more than 70 sites hosting altogether more than 500,000 IDPS in the North East Nigeria. In the future, the tool will also capture information of activities implemented in out-of-camps context and host communities. *To be implemented soon

SITE TRACKER OF ACTIVITIES IN IDP SITES AND HOST COMMUNITIES Online portal

Camp Coordination and Camp Management The DTM Multisector tracker allows stakeholders to follow the dynamics of population changes in IDP sites, and supports the Camp Coordinators and the Camp managers to better plan and coordinate services and up-held level of standards in sites. It is available online and it enables users make queries on reasons of increase or decrease of population, availability of services, and trends on population movement, among other information. For Camp Coordinators, the information could be visualized per sites, per sites in LGAs or per States, if needed. The Tracker can serve as the main source of information for inter-camps coordination. Camp Coordinators can follow the frequency of Intra-camps coordination meetings and the rate of response and assistance from implementing partners and analyze which ones are the most responsive and active. CCCM Tracker Web Interface Shelter and Non-Food Items Camp Managers and Camp Coordinators can flag the most needed NFIs, the need to increase shelter spaces in sites or repair of those already built. The tool provides the humanitarian community and members of the Shelter and NFI sector quick access to information per site and location, which allows them to be in a better position to remain accountable to their commitments and at the same time keeping close coordination of who does what, where and when. DTM Nigeria

Health and Nutrition The members of the Health and Nutrition sectors can follow up activities implemented in different camps, and make queries about specific issues they deem important to maintain adequate level of standards. Camp Managers would be able to inform suppliers of the need to resupply clinics with drugs and medical items. Nutrition sector members can follow the rate of new births and the number of lactating and pregnant women in order to supply food supplements. Members of the Health sector will be able to better coordinate activities to prevent and mitigate outbreaks and to keep track of the level of standards and prevent diseases. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Activities such as hygiene promotion and campaigns on camp cleaning, distribution of hygiene kits, aqua tabs,, construction and repair of latrines, bathrooms and water points; waste collection and disinfection of facilities, drainage can be followed-up on a weekly basis by the concerning sector, actors and camp managers. The monitoring of possible contamination can prevent and mitigate diseases like cholera and other water-borne diseases. WASH, being a very sensitive sector requires its implementing partners and service providers to monitor constantly the quality of services and the state of the facilities to avoid situation that could further harm the IDPs residing in sites. The DTM Multisector tracker allows stakeholders to be constantly aware of such issues on a weekly basis to enable them to reduce the chances of delay in response and strengthens the WASH sector. CCCM Multi Sector Tracker data form DTM Nigeria

Protection Members of protection sector will be able to follow-up protection activities such as psychosocial support, child protection and prevention and mitigation of Gender Based Violence in order to make sure that all sites receive the necessary attention on this subject. The tool will assist the relevant stakeholders to ensure that prevention and mitigation of violence and abuse are delivered to those who are the most vulnerable. DTM Nigeria
