All things prevent related Provide a central point of contact for organisations to gain information, advice and training Support to develop risk assessments and develop action plans Develop and support relationships between institutions, local authorities, communities and police to manage emerging risks and enhance resilience
Section 26 of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 (the Act) places a duty on certain bodies ( specified authorities listed in Schedule 6 to the Act), in the exercise of their functions, to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism. This guidance is issued under section 29 of the Act. The Act states that the authorities subject to the provisions must have regard to this guidance when carrying out the duty.

However, any such squirms and discomforts are never an excuse for abandoning jihad, as the all knowing and most wise said, Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it contains that which you dislike. But perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, whilst you know not (Al Baqarah 216) In compliance with this and other verses on jihad, generations upon genrations of muhajidin rose for the sack of Allah and struck the necks of the kuffar with their swords, severing limbs and piercing the fleshy meat of those who opposed Islam. So when you meet those who disbelieve, strike their necks, until, when you have overwhelmed them with killing

the ability of communities to function and grow in harmony together rather than in conflict. It has strong links to concepts of equality and diversity given that community cohesion can only grow when society as a whole recognises that individuals have the right to equality (of treatment, access to services etc) and respects and appreciates the diverse nature of our communities.
there is a common vision and a sense of belonging for all communities; the diversity of people s backgrounds and circumstances is appreciated and positively valued; those from different backgrounds have similar life opportunities strong and positive relationships are being developed between people from different backgrounds circumstances in the workplace, in schools and in neighbourhoods.
Over 850 people from Britain (5000 across Europe) are known to have gone out to Syria 100,000 daily tweets in support of Da esh Since 2012 over 1000 people have received support via the multi agency channel scheme 150 journeys to Syria have been prevented In 2015, 50 children (from 20 families) were protected by courts from being taken to a conflict zone 142 community based projects were delivered in 2015/16, reaching over 42,000 participants And since 2010, 200,000 extremist / terrorist related materials have been taken down from the internet (2000 per week)
