1 R E S U L T S O F T H E S U R V E Y O N AWARENESS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING RISKS AMONG VULNERABLE AND UKRAINE CONDUCTED BY UKRAINE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MIGRATION (IOM) MISSION IN UKRAINE WITH FUNDING FROM GLOBAL AFFAIRS CANADA UKRAINE 16
2 THE SURVEY ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING RISKS WAS CONDUCTED AMONG NINE VULNERABLE GROUPS OF AND YOUTH, AND AMONG 53 REPRESENTATIVES OF ORGANIZATIONS WORKING WITH THESE GROUPS IN OCTOBER-DECEMBER 15. THE SURVEY WAS CONDUCTED VIA FACE-TO-FACE INTERVIEWS IN ALL REGIONS OF UKRAINE, EXCEPT FOR AR CRIMEA AND THE NON-GOVERNMENT-CONTROLLED AREAS OF DONETSK AND LUHANSK OBLASTS. THE MAIN SURVEY RESULTS FOR NINE VULNERABLE GROUPS OF AND YOUTH ARE PROVIDED IN THESE INFOGRAPHICS.
3 SAMPLE SIZE AND DEFINITION OF VULNERABLE GROUPS OF AND YOUTH IN FOSTER IN WITH VOCATIONAL Orphans or those without parental care aged raised in boarding schools Children in difficult life circumstances aged who receive social support Children aged displaced from the military conflict zones in the East of Ukraine Children aged who are raised in foster families Children aged in family-type homes Boys 1 and young males aged 13- who are in penitentiaries Children with special needs aged raised in boarding schools Children aged who spend most of their time on the streets or those who run away from home from time to time Young people aged 15- who study in vocational schools 1 Only boys were interviewed within the category of "Youth in penitentiaries" because the employees of the State Penitentiary Service did not recommend to conduct the survey in Melitopol penitentiary, which is the only institution for juvenile girls as there are few girls in it (26 girls as of ).
