The Megna Carta, The English Bill of Rights, The American Declaration of Independence, The French Declaration on the Rights of Man and Citizen, Human Rights Movements in India (contributions of Raja Ram Mohan Rai, Ishwar Chander Vidya Sagar, B.R. Ambedkar and M.K. Gandhi).

Charter, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Brief overview of optional protocol I and II to International Convention of Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). Brief overview of other core conventions on Human Rights. 1. Convention on all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), The Convention against Torture (CAT), The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), 1984.
