6 QUEBEC INVESTOR IMMIGRATION PROGRAM The Quebec Investor Immigration Program provides a route to permanent residence in Canada for eligible applicants who: Would like to settle in Canada s largest province, which boasts vibrant, cosmopolitan cities (Montreal and Quebec City) and kilometres of beautiful, natural scenery. Can demonstrate a net worth of $2 million CAD or more. Have either: 1. a refundable $1.2 million CAD in available funds to provide to the Provincial Government; or 2. available funds to finance a 5-year, interest-free, loan. Have funds to cover legal fees and government filing fees. Have at least 2 years of managerial experience in the past 5 years. There are no language or age requirements for this program, though a knowledge and comprehension of French would be beneficial to the applicant.

8 THE ONTARIO IMMIGRANT NOMINEE PROGRAM (OINP) The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program s (OINP) Entrepreneur Stream helps individuals from countries outside of Canada to implement a new business idea or buy an existing business in Toronto or elsewhere in Ontario. You may be eligible for this program if you have a viable business activity that will bring significant economic benefit to Ontario. If approved, you may apply for a temporary work permit in order to establish your business. Once your business has been successfully established, you may be nominated for permanent residence. Eligibility Criteria: Business experience: At least three years of full-time business ownership or senior management experience in the last five years. Net Worth: $1,500,000 CDN in the Greater Toronto Area, $800,000 CDN elsewhere in Ontario. Personal Investment Funds: minimum personal investment of $1,000,000 CDN in the Greater Toronto Area, $500,000 CDN elsewhere in Ontario. Job Creation: You must create at least two permanent full-time jobs for Canadian citizens/ permanent residents. Business-Related Visit: Make a business-related visit to Ontario.

9 ONTARIO PNP PROCEDURE 7 Steps to Permanent Residency in Ontario: 1. Conduct exploratory tour of Ontario. 2. Submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Ontario government. 3. Receive Invitation to apply and submit full application including business plan. 4. receive Canadian temporary residency. 5. Come to Ontario and purchase or establish a business. 6. Receive nomination for permanent residency from Ontario government. 7. 12 US EB-5 INVESTOR IMMIGRATION PROGRAM The US EB-5 program may be ideal for investors with a minimum of $500,000* USD in available funds who are interested in: A direct route to a US Green Card with an average processing time of about two years or less. This is subject to change as time goes on. Permanent residency for the investor, their spouse, and children under 21. Passive investment opportunities. No requirement for prior business management experience. Freedom to work, study, live and retire anywhere in the US. An opportunity to attend school at US resident cost. US citizenship and passport availability after 5 years. *Note that the minimum investment is decided by the US government. We will inform you of any changes. THE EB-5 REGIONAL CENTER PROGRAM (RCP) The RCP requires an initial investment in an eligible project. There are currently over 800 regional centres that offer eligible investment projects. This program does not require active management. The program does require job creation, but allows the investor to qualify by creating employment indirectly (for example, through funds flowing to subcontractors in construction projects). Of special note in the EB-5 Program: No educational requirements No language requirments Investors can live anywhere in the United States Investors do not have to be working in the United States The US EB-5 petition process is complex and requires an in-depth discussion. Pace Immigration will help each investor to identify eligible investment projects. We will then guide you through the process of selecting and investing in a project and ultimately securing a Green Card for you, your spouse, and your children under the age of 21.

14 PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAMS FOR ENTREPRENEURS The purpose of these programs is to attract exceptional business persons who are willing and able to make an investment in, and be actively involved in, a new or existing business in one of Canada s smaller provinces A main requirement of the programs is that you must invest in a business in that province and undertake an active role in management of the business. To qualify for the Provincial Nominee entrepreneur programs, interested applicants must: have a minimum verifiable personal net worth of CDN $500,000; have several years of successful business ownership and management experience at the time of application; score sufficient points on provincial grading matrix; make a refundable deposit of CDN $100,000 minimum; settle and do business in the nominating province along with family members; conduct an exploratory visit to the nominating province. The applicant must provide a visit report and other documents to demonstrate the research conducted during this visit; and provide the results of a language competency test to demonstrate language proficiency (some provinces).

16 START-UP VISA PROGRAM A business immigration program that requires no minimum investment and no minimum net worth. A single viable business idea could lead to Canadian permanent residence for the applicant and dependent family members. Canada s Start-up Visa Program targets immigrant entrepreneurs with the skills and potential to build businesses in Canada that: are innovative; can create jobs for Canadians; and can compete on a global scale. To be eligible for the Start-up Visa Program, you must: have a qualifying business; prove your business is supported by a designated organization. These are business groups that have been approved to invest in or support possible start-ups; meet the language requirements; and bring enough money to settle. The program is unique in that it provides successful candidates with Canadian permanent residence regardless of whether the venture succeeds. Similar programs in other countries only offer temporary residence.

18 CARIBBEAN CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT PROGRAMS Citizenship may be obtained via investment in several independent Commonwealth states in the Eastern Caribbean, including Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Dominica, and Grenada. A short flight from Miami, these nations have been luxury travel destinations for decades. Each year during Antigua Sailing Week, yachts from over 20 countries compete for the top prize in the Caribbean s longest running regatta. These beautiful islands are very safe, with vibrant economies and cultures, and English as an official language. The Citizenship by Investment Programs are simple and straightforward and are perfect for those seeking visa-free travel to 140+ destinations around the world. Benefits of the Programs Freedom of movement: Passport holders can travel visa-free to over 140 countries, including the UK and all EU countries. Tax: Residents pay no tax on worldwide income. There is no estate tax, inheritance tax, or capital gains tax. Education: It is easier to obtain a student visa, for example to Canada. Several toprated U.S. certified medical schools are located in the Eastern Caribbean. Fast: Documentation is straightforward, forms brief, and processing times average only a few months. No language requirements. No minimum net worth, but the applicant must be of good character. Program Options Option 1: National Development Fund Contribution. The applicant must make a one-time, non-refundable contribution to the nation s respective National Development Fund. Required donations range from USD $100,000 to $200,000, depending on the program. Option 2: Real Estate. The government of the respective Caribbean nation requires applicants to invest $200,000-$400,000 USD in designated and officially approved real estate. The investment must be maintained for a minimum of 5 years. *Note that the above investment fees do not include nominal government and legal processing fees. **Subject to change- Speak to your legal representative regarding limited time offers Minimal or no residency requirements.

20 CYPRUS INVESTMENT PROGRAMME Located in the Eastern Mediterranean, Cyprus is strategically placed as a launch point for working and traveling to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. A Commonwealth and EU Member State, Cyprus is a major tourist destination in the Mediterranean and boasts a high-income economy. The Cyprus Investment Programme offers investors Cypriot Citizenship, which allows visa-free travel to 159 countries. Benefits of the Program Path to citizenship within approximately 6 months. No language requirements. Low tax rate and free trade within the EU. Unrestricted right to live, work, and study in Europe. Excellent education system. Application Requirements The applicant must have a clean criminal record. Must be the holder of a valid passport. Provide documents supporting the legal source of funds used for the investment. Must have a permanent, privately-owned. residence in Cyprus worth a minimum. of 500,000 plus VAT, in addition to one of the below investment options.

21 KEY Investment REQUIREMENTS Purchase main residence 500,000 (plus VAT if applicable); Invest a minimum of 1.5m in residential property or 2m in other eligible investment options for a minimum period of 3 years; Other eligible investments include financial assets of Cypriot companies/ organizations, investment in Alternative Investment Funds or financial assets of Cypriot companies, licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) or a combination amounting to 2m; Clean criminal conduct; Investor s name must not be included on the list of persons whose property is ordered to be frozen by the EU. Note that the above totals do not include taxes and legal fees.
