1 From: Donna Brazile Subject: Eric, we need your help to get out the vote Date: November 1, 2016 at 7:24 AM To: Eric -- This is it -- the final, critical week of this election. So I'm reaching out to you now to be a part of this oh-so-important work to help elect Hillary and Democrats in your community. Can you join Missouri Democrats and help get out the vote for our candidates up and down the ticket? When you talk to your neighbors about Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, when you tell them about the Democrats running in your state and your community, discuss the issues, or help your neighbors get to the polls and vote, you're making a meaningful, measurable impact on the outcome of this election. Folks like you volunteering your time is how Democrats have won elections for as long as I've been a member of this party. It doesn't matter whether you're running for President of the United States or city council. That's how we're going to win this election for Democrats up and down the ticket -- one phone call, one door knock, one conversation, and one vote at a time. And we can't do that without you. Say you'll join Missouri Democrats and volunteer: Thanks, Donna Donna Brazile Chair Democratic National Committee

5 From: Barack Obama Subject: Eric Date: November 1, 2016 at 9:50 PM To: Eric -- Nine years ago, during my first campaign for president, I had the chance to sit down with a small group of supporters, talk with them about their hopes and dreams, and learn why they had chosen to get involved in that election. I didn't realize at the time that meetings like that would become one of my favorite campaign traditions. So before this campaign and my time in office come to an end, I'd like to bring back this tradition just one more time: Eric, will you join me for a chat? If you chip in $3 or whatever you can to help Hillary and Democrats in the final days of this election, you'll be automatically entered for a chance to meet with me and have a conversation about what matters to you. If the election were held today, FiveThirtyEight gives Trump a one-in-four chance to win. Eric, if we shut out the noise, keep our noses to the grindstone, and hustle for these last six days, we'll win this election. 19 From: DNC Polling Update Subject: re: 5-day update Date: November 3, 2016 at 11:07 AM To: Election Day is only five days away. Pitch in $10 to help us elect Hillary and Democrats up and down the ticket. DONATE Eric -- According to The New York Times, Democrats are "slight favorites" to regain control of the Senate on Election Day: But with five days to go, those odds are simply not good enough for us to sit back and wait for Tuesday, Eric. We know that some Republicans want to continue their unprecedented obstruction on the Supreme Court vacancy. If they hold the Senate, they might get their wish. So our team here at DNC HQ is heading out to battleground states like Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Arizona to help our organizers finish the job so we can elect Democrats up and down the ticket -- and they're all counting on our support. We know that when more people vote, Democrats win elections -- so we need to use every hour between this moment and when the final polls close to make sure everyone who wants to vote makes it to the polls. So make your plan to vote today -- and then share this link to help your fellow Democrats out, too:

32 Trust me, Eric, if you find yourself on November 9th trapped under four years of President Trump because you, your family, friends, or neighbors didn't have a plan, you're going to regret it. 36 From: Democrats.org Subject: Eric, this is just not normal Date: November 5, 2016 at 7:56 AM To: There isn't much time left to pitch in to our Stop Trump Fund. You don't want to wake up on Wednesday wishing you'd done more to beat him: DONATE Eric, at this point in this election, we're running out of ways to say "this is not normal." On Thursday, Politico ran this: Let's zoom in there for a second: those two on the couch? Well, we just got two jaw-dropping pieces of news about two of Donald Trump's closest allies. Rudy Giuliani, who is positioned to be a senior advisor in a potential Trump White House, admitted that FBI insiders have been leaking supposedly-secret information to him. He was effectively confirming that when he hinted last week that the Trump campaign had "a couple of surprises left" -- two days before FBI Director James Comey's letter to Congress -- he

37 knew this was coming. And, as of yesterday, four top aides to Chris Christie -- who Trump wanted as his VP pick but settled on putting him in charge of his transition team, in charge of staffing his administration -- have now been convicted of federal crimes related to Christie's Bridgegate scandal, implicating Christie in the process. As if the prospect of a President Trump alone isn't scary enough, this is a preview of what a Trump administration would look like. We can't let this happen. Pitch in $3 or more before it's too late. We've most likely never met, and might not do so. But I'm so grateful for the opportunity to speak with you for a moment. Eric, I'm not a wealthy guy. Nor do I represent a special interest. I'm a 76-year-old Kansas heartlander, Eagle Scout, physician (Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine), Vietnam veteran, Bronze Star recipient, father/grandfather, volunteer university medical student tutor/lecturer/instructor/interviewer, Pearl Harbor Boot Camp for New Dads coach, and LGBT, veterans, universal civil rights, affordable education and racial equality advocate and activist, retired with my partner of 11 years in Honolulu. I'm a Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine supporter because they speak directly to issues important to me: gun violence, the environment, PTSD care, military suicide prevention, college sexual assault, and national security. I am supporting Democratic candidates because I am absolutely, unequivocally convinced that they will consistently address these issues about which I and many Americans care. For the past several months, I've volunteered regularly for the Hawaiʻi for Hillary phone bank, and now I am helping recruit volunteers at our condominium building who will provide rides to the polls for anyone in need on Election Day. Eric, I'll bet if every one of the folks who read this stepped up and signed up to make some calls, we'd get a lot of people out to vote, wouldn't we? Please join me. There is far too much at stake in this election. And I know you know that. Sign up for a shift to make calls: And Eric, here's what I know: Each of us has an important voice and an influence that's ours to use. We've all got something we can express, nurture, share, and pass around. We just need to seize the opportunities right in front of us to connect to each other and be stronger together. This is one of those opportunities. Join me by signing up to help get out the vote -- and elect Hillary Clinton president. 84 From: Democrats.org Subject: Eric, start making some calls! Date: November 8, 2016 at 1:12 PM To: Today is Election Day! We need your help to get voters to the polls -- click this button and start making calls: MAKE SOME CALLS Eric -- If you are a Democrat who really wants to win this election -- and is really anxious as the clock keeps ticking and we get closer to the polls closing -- I have a great way for you to spend some time these last few hours that will make you feel better and make a real difference. I promise. Making calls to voters in swing states can make the difference between someone voting and not voting -- and us winning a close race or losing it. Here is something Michelle Obama reminded North Carolina voters a few weeks ago that really stuck with me: in 2008, Barack Obama won that state by 14,000 votes. That averaged out to just two votes in each precinct. In 2012, he lost by the equivalent of 17 votes per precinct. If those voters had gone the other way or stayed home, President Obama might not have won the state in or lost it in And this year, we just can't leave it to chance. That's why we're asking you to hop on our online call tool (it's fun and easy) and talk to some folks who might just make the difference in a close state. You could help win this for us, Eric. Click here, and start making calls before the polls close tonight: Thanks so much for doing your part -- we really appreciate you. Lindsey Lindsey Reynolds

87 From: Barack Obama Subject: Eric, join me to talk about what's next Date: November 13, 2016 at 1:53 PM To: Eric -- I know that, for the most part, Tuesday night didn't go the way we'd hoped for. But we always knew that at the end of a long and hard-fought campaign, regardless of outcome, we'd still have more work to do. So I want to take a few minutes to talk about what comes next. I'll be jumping on the phone with Democrats across the country at 5:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, November 14th, and I'd like you to join me. The road ahead is certainly going to be bumpier than we expected -- but that's OK, Eric. When we set out on this journey nearly ten years ago, we knew it wouldn't be an easy one. And everything we've accomplished since then came about because of our hard work -- our determination to make the change we wanted to see, no matter what obstacles confronted us. We can't get discouraged, Eric. We can't get cynical. As Hillary said on Wednesday morning, fighting for what is right is worth it. It's time to brush ourselves off, get back in the arena, and get ready to fight. RSVP now to reserve your spot on tomorrow's call -- and I'll talk to you soon: Thanks, Barack DONATE

I'm proud to have spent the last few months working every day for the most qualified candidate for president (who, incidentally, also got the most votes). And I'm really, really proud to be able to say that I didn't vote for Donald Trump. That's why I made this -- and I plan on putting it somewhere everyone can see:

96 From: Barack Obama Subject: re: fighting back Date: November 21, 2016 at 12:27 PM To: Eric -- When I arrived in Washington in 2005, Republicans controlled the Senate and the House, and the Presidency. Things were looking pretty bleak. But then two years later, Democrats were taking over Congress. And four years later, I was getting sworn in as President of the United States. So I've seen Democrats fight back and make the kind of change we want to see -- and the reason that happens is because of folks like you. Because we can learn our lessons, brush ourselves off, and get back to work more fired up and committed than ever before. I hope you're ready, Eric -- because we need you standing by our side now more than ever. Losses are tough. Unexpected losses are even tougher. But when we're ready -- and that time is going to be sooner rather than later -- we are going to come together and focus on our way ahead. Because even when I become a private citizen in a few months, I'm not going to stop working on behalf of the things I care about. And I hope you won't stop either. We've come so far together -- and this notion that somehow all the work we've done suddenly gets stripped away is simply not true. We've done so much that, even if the next administration rolls back 20 percent of that, we're still 80 percent ahead. And even that is not going to be as easy as some people think -- especially if folks like you continue to make the case and mobilize. So chip in $10 or more today if you're still fired up. 98 From: George Takei Subject: re: Japanese internment Date: November 21, 2016 at 3:59 PM To: Eric -- Just a few weeks after my fifth birthday, in the spring of 1942, my parents got my younger brother, my baby sister, and me up very early, hurriedly dressed us, and quickly started to pack. When my brother and I looked out the window of our living room, we saw two soldiers marching up the driveway, bayonets fixed to their rifles. They banged on our front door and ordered us out of the house. We could take only what we could carry with us. We were loaded on to train cars with other Japanese-American families, with guards stationed at both ends of each car as though we were criminals, and sent two-thirds of the way across the country to an internment camp in the swamps of Arkansas. For nearly three years, barbed wire, sentry towers, and armed guards marked home. Mass showers, lousy meals in crowded mess halls, and a searchlight following me as I ran from our barracks to the latrine in the middle of the night -- in case I was trying to escape -- became normal. So when I hear Donald Trump's transition advisors talk about building a registry of Muslims and his surrogates using the internment of Japanese-Americans as their model, I am outraged -- because I remember the tears streaming down my mother's face as we were torn away from our home. And I am resolved to raise my voice and say, loudly and clearly, that this is not who we are. My mother was born in Sacramento, my father grew up in San Francisco, and my siblings and I were born in Los Angeles. We were American citizens, as proud of our country as we were of our Japanese heritage. But in the fear and mass hysteria of wartime, none of that mattered. When our government allowed hatred and racism to overtake our values, nothing else mattered. We cannot allow our country to be led down that dark path ever again. Eric, I am committed to fighting for our values, our democracy, and the moral character of our nation. And I am committed to standing with the Democratic Party against bigotry and oppression for the next four years and beyond, no matter what form it takes. I hope you will do the same. Pitch in $10 or more to help Democrats fight back -- and get your free sticker: DONATE Eric -- Yesterday, Donald Trump tweeted something truly jaw-dropping about the outcome of this election: Donald has spent more time on Twitter than he has receiving intelligence briefings during the transition. And he's used his tweets to attack and insult anyone he perceives as opposing him, from The New York Times to peaceful demonstrators outside his hotels. But those "millions of people" who he falsely claims "voted illegally?" Eric, he's talking about you and me. Pitch in $10 or more to help Democrats fight back -- and get your free sticker: DONATE Eric -- Donald Trump lost the popular vote. He lost it by more than 2 million votes and counting. Fewer people voted for him than for his opponent -- and he can't stand it. But even by his low standards, this is despicable. On Sunday, Trump launched into a trademark Twitter rant about why he's losing the popular vote. His new theory, supported by exactly zero pieces of evidence, is that he is losing because "millions" of Americans "illegally" voted against him. That's BS.
