Rotary Club of Red Hook, New York Weekly Bulletin SERVICE ABOVE SELF June 23, Our meeting this week: Our guest speaker this week was our own Bud Weaver who spoke of the history of the RI Foundation, Every Rotarian Every Year, our C l u b F o u n d a t i o n Scholarship and who also showed us some postage stamps from around the world which honor Rotary. The Highland Rotary Club is sponsoring the 11th Annual Hudson Valley Ribfest on August 14-16, 2015 at the Ulster County Fairgrounds, New Paltz, NY. They are in need of volunteers to help us in the following areas: entrance fee collections,beer sales, soda & water sales, raffle sales, table clean up, and set up and break down of the grounds. To compensate our volunteers, Highland Rotary will share a portion of their proceeds with us. To volunteer, please see Jonah Triebwasser. District Governor Nick Constantino will make his official visit to us on Tuesday, August 4th. 100% attendance would be appreciated! Our annual Baxter's Bash picnic will be at the Red Hook Rec Park on Tuesday, August 21st with a rain date of Tuesday, September 1st. Details to follow!
