1 !! Rotary Club of Red Hook, New York Weekly Bulletin SERVICE ABOVE SELF May 17, We had our business meeting today and committee reports. At the recent district conference, the club received the Gold Award for excellence in public relations. Our publicity techniques were highlighted as one of the three best practices in the district along with our Apple Blossom Day event planning. Therefore, Red Hook Rotary had two of the three best practices highlighted! Members we missed and hope to see next week: Walter Avis, Betsy Levy, Karen Mead- Cadorette and Barry Ramage. Special guest: Anthony Place of Trustco Bank. Attendance: 76%; Happy dollars: $35.00; 50/50: Jonah Triebwasser who donated his share to the Rotary Foundation (thank you Jonah!) Our next meeting: Tuesday, May 24th, 7:30 a.m. Bread & Bottle. Speaker host: Susan Simon; Greeter: Linda Greenblatt; Sgt. at Arms: Tim Lynch.ß Pizza Party - Bread & Bottle - Tuesday, May 31st, 5:30 p.m. - There will be no morning meeting that day! Interact needs your help - Our Interact club is hosting an ultimate Frisbee tournament on Sunday, May 29th from Noon to 3:00 p.m. Chaperons are needed. Please speak to Carl or Linda if you are available. The 2017 Rotary International Convention will be in Atalanta, Georgia, June 10th to 14th.
